Katoi is a studio located on the ground floor of building B. Its location offers a pleasant energy from the feeling of being grounded and the surrounding stone walls a great natural cool climate both in summer and the winter.

History

Katoi was used by the parents of Chrysoulla. In the older times Cypriot parents would built their daughter’s house as a form of dowry for marriage. The house would always include a room were the parents would later on at their elder years when their daughter would in return look after them.

They katoi includes two ancient wooden rods on the wall facing the entrance which were the first version of a hanger. It also includes a lamp with traditional cypriot embroidery handmade by Kalliopi
